Well, we were on a really good roll with posting to the blog, and then as they say "life happened". We found out on Tuesday (12/11/07) at a doctor's appointment for Anne that she would need to have surgery the following Monday (12/17/07). So, you will have to forgive us for tending to other matters instead of updating the blog, especially since we were going to use this week to get ready for the baptism and Christmas.
The surgery went very well. Turns out that Anne had a herniated umbilicus (belly button region), and now she is on the mend. The biggest inconvenience is that she can't lift anything over 15 lbs for the next 6 weeks. So, here's hoping Ivan doesn't gain the next 5 lbs too fast!
