Fun in the Snow

Ivan and Anne near our Christmas tree that we planted in our backyard. These two pictures were taken today. We have had snow and freezing rain over the past couple of days.

Tummy Time

We went to the pediatrician on Feb 14th for Ivan's 4-month check-up. He weighed in at 14 lbs and 10 oz. He's now 26 inches long, which puts him in the 75th and 50th percentile respectively. We were sent home with strict instructions to do LOTS of tummy time. It's not Ivan's favorite thing in the world, but we are doing our best to keep him distracted and entertained with various toys. Ivan has even started rolling over from his tummy to his back. (but only when he's with daddy!)

We even sneek in some tummy time in the tub! (future scuba diver)

PS ~ We have had several people ask if he has red hair. It may look like it in these pictures, but it still looks light brown in person. :)

Four Months Old

We go to the pediatrician later this week, so we will know his 'official' measurements then, but you can definitely tell his is growing very well!

Below are a few more fun ones from this set of pictures. Ivan still isn't sitting up on his own, so he kept leaning over while we were trying to get the above shots.

Visit from Uncle Jordan and Patience

Uncle Jordan and his puppy, Patience, came to visit this past weekend.

Patience had a lot of fun playing in our backyard. Good thing we have a utility sink in the basement to clean her up!

Video ~ Jordan, Ivan and Patience

This past weekend, Anne's brother Jordan came for a visit. He is in grad school at WVU, so it's only a 5-hour drive for him to travel. We have seen him about once a month since Ivan was born, and we love his visits. Now he has his own new addition . . . a puppy! Her name is Patience, and she is an adorable Springer Spaniel.
