Finally a picture that captures Ivan's eye color. It changes a lot depending on his mood and sometimes by what he is wearing. We are still calling it green, but at times it almost looks like a steely grey or a dark olive color.

Hands are so cool and useful! Ivan has really progressed this month at using his hands, as well as taste testing everything.
Ivan hates wearing hats, so this picture was taken 2 seconds after putting it on him at a time he was already really happy. Seconds after this picture was taken, he was very mad until the hat came off. Thankfully he went back to happy and "talking" to mommy. That's what he is doing in the picture below. :)
This month 2-year old cousin Isabel came over a few afternoons to hang out with Ivan. Above is a picture of her right after she got her first haircut. She is super cute and did a great job playing with Ivan.
Ivan and Anne have made a few new friends! Thanks to our mutual friend, Rachel Mark, we have met Ann and baby Cecilia. Ann is a stay-at-home mom, and it's been nice to have fun play dates with them! We are even going to start doing some cooking together.
