Ivan's first tooth!

Ivan has his first tooth! It came in on 3/15/08 in the evening. We were getting Ivan ready for a bath when Tom said that Ivan took a chunk out of his knuckle. Below are our before and after pictures. :)

3/12/07 ~ Ivan saying "ahh" for the camera, and showing off that he still doesn't have any teeth. He has been chewing on everything, but his favorite seems to be the tail of his red kangaroo toy.


3/15/07 ~ Seeeeee! It's his bottom right tooth that has come in.

Video! Ivan and his pacifier

This video is from 3/14/08. Ivan has gotten really good control over his hands, and his favorite thing to play with is actually his pacifier. He was pulling it in and out of his mouth like a lollipop, which is what we tried to get on video. But, like usual, he stopped what he was doing as soon as the camera is ready! Oh well, the video is still cute.

Side note, in the next posting, you will see that the very next night Ivan's first tooth came in. It's hard to see in this video, but there was nothing poking through when we took it.

Five Months Old

We can hardly believe it, but our baby is 5 months old already!

Ivan's 1st Snowman

On Friday/Saturday we got over a foot of snow in Cincinnati. Tom's cousin, Jeff, was over this afternoon, and the guys decided to go out in our back yard and build a snowman. Ivan was sleeping while it was being built, but he enjoyed meeting frosty anyway. Look how he is hanging on to his 'arm'.

12 Inches Donated!

Today Anne cut 12 inches off and donated it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign. As stated on their website, "Pantene Beautiful Lengths was created to bring people together to share their strength and donate their beautiful, healthy hair to create free wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment."
